Many of the serious environmental issues like global warming, loss of species and air pollution — that our planet is grappling with — can be attributed to large scale depletion of tree cover. Trees help to regulate our ambient temperature and environment. They provide home for many species, thus allowing nature to retain its balance. They also protect our lungs by absorbing harmful emissions and gases and by giving out Oxygen in return. Our planet therefore seems to be running low on environment sustaining battery: Trees. We need to recharge it by planting a lot more trees 🙂
